Early this year IP agreed to be a Flagship Sponsor of the 2017 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. IP donated $5,000 towards the $15,000 flagship sponsorship agreement. At the team leader celebration, Kim Goetz, Director of Marketing and Herb Gee, Director of Tables Games and the 2017 Real Men Wear Pink ambassador presented the check to Liz Gaulke, Community Development Manager and Christen Waters, Senior Manager of Community engagement for the American Cancer Society.
“We are proud of what the team members at IP CASINO RESORT & SPA did this year to support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Mississippi Gulf Coast,” said Gaulke. “As our Flagship Sponsor, IP raised the most funds through their team on the Gulf Coast and reached the $25,000 Pacesetter Team Status. IP is the first Pacesetter Team ever in the state of Mississippi. This is such an amazing show of support in the fight against cancer, and exemplifies the teamwork and compassion IP team members have for our community.”
“IP is proud to support Making Strides and the services it provides to those fighting the breast cancer battle,” said Goetz. “It is with our joint efforts to support and promote their programming that we will make advancements in the treatment and eradication of this disease. We are proud to partner with them and are even more proud of the effort and dedication our Team Members gave to raise these funds.”
