With 16 studio albums and more than 40 years of hits to their name, April Wine’s imprint on the rock music scene began in 1969 in Nova Scotia, Canada. The group enjoyed initial mainstream success with their second album “On Record,” which received Gold status in 1972. The album’s first single “You Could Have Been a Lady” topped the Canadian charts at No. 1 and remained on the U.S charts for 11 straight weeks, cracking the Top-30. The band continued to record hits throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s, including “I Like to Rock,” “Roller,” “Sign of the Gypsy Queen,” “Tonight is a Wonderful Time to Fall in Love” and “The Whole World’s Goin’ Crazy.”

Their hit single “Just Between You and Me” broke the Top-20 in the U.S. and remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 16 weeks. “Nature of The Beast” went on to become an international success, selling more than one million copies and going Platinum in the U.S. and double-Platinum in Canada.
