IP Presents $20,000 Donation to Mental Health Association of South Mississippi

BILOXI, Miss.—In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, IP CASINO RESORT SPA presented $20,000 to the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi on Wednesday, April 12.

“We’re proud to support an organization that has had a lasting positive impact on our community, and one that many of our team members will donate their time to support through volunteer activities,” said Duncan McKenzie, Vice President and General Manager of IP. 

Each May, Mental Health Awareness Month is observed to create awareness for and spread knowledge about a variety of topics related to mental health. To help kick off the observance of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Month, IP hosted a breakfast event attended by many supporters of the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi. At the kick-off breakfast, IP Director of Security Alfred Sexton presented a check of $20,000 check to the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi.

IP has donated more than $200,000 to the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi since 2010, and regularly supports the Mental Health Association through in-kind donations and team member volunteer activities.
