Grammy Award-Winning Classic Rock Band America Returns to IP’s Studio A Sept. 30

BILOXI, Miss.—Celebrated classic rock band America will bring their timeless hits to Studio A at IP CASINO RESORT SPA on Saturday, Sept. 30.

America formed in 1970 with founders Dewey Bunnell, Gerry Beckley and Dan Peekin England performing live at venues across London. The band’s popularity skyrocketed with the release of their No. 1 hit “A Horse With No Name.” With their signature harmonic sound, vast musical terrain and hits like “Sister Golden Hair” and “Tin Man,” America has released multiple certified Gold and Platinum albums, and several Top Ten singles.

Throughout their more than 45-year career, America has received distinguished recognitions for their unique musical talents. In 1972, the group won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist. America was also inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2006, and went on to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The band’s current lineup includes original founders Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to the show. Tickets start at $29 plus tax and convenience fees.
