The Monster Jam World Finals took place at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium in March. Make-A-Wish welcomed nine Wish Kids and their families from all over the U.S. arriving on Tuesday, March 21st, and Boyd Gaming was there to help make sure they had a memorable stay in Las Vegas.
As the official host hotel for the Wish Kids, Sam’s Town hosted all 38 guests during their Las Vegas stay. Each Wish Kid received a bag of goodies from Sam’s Town, complete with a mini logoed monster truck.
On Wednesday, Wish Kids and their families attended a private meet and greet with the Monster Jam drivers, who signed autographs and showed off their trucks. Some even let the Wish Kids go inside their vehicles! Then the VIP visitors had the opportunity to ride in four of the trucks and left with gift bags filled with Monster Jam swag. For the remainder of the day, the Wish Families had the chance to explore Las Vegas.
On Thursday, the Wish Kids and their families were invited to the Monster Jam Pit Party and had the opportunity to walk on the track, watch the parade and view the qualifying round. The main event took place on Friday and Saturday, where the Wish Kids and their families had VIP seats. Wishes matter, and because of the generosity and volunteers at Sam’s Town, nine Wish Kids and their families experienced the power of a wish.
“Boyd Gaming and Sam’s Town Las Vegas are grateful to Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada for the opportunity to share memorable experiences with these Wish Kids and their families on Monster Jam weekend,” said John Sou, Vice President and General Manager of Sam’s Town Las Vegas. “It was our honor to host them and we hope they enjoyed a spectacular time in Las Vegas.”
