For the second consecutive year, William B’s Steakhouse at Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa in Michigan City, Ind., has received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. The award is in recognition of the restaurant’s well-curated list of quality wine selections, and William B’s Steakhouse is one of only a handful of Northwest Indiana restaurants to receive the Award of Excellence.
Named after Boyd Gaming Co-Founder and Executive Chairman Bill Boyd, William B's is a world-class steakhouse inspired by Las Vegas’ legendary Stardust Hotel and Casino. The steakhouse features prime steak, fresh seafood and exquisite pasta dishes, all prepared with Midwestern flair. William B’s also offers a selection of 105 wines from California as well as Spain, France, Italy and South America that will be sure to satisfy discerning wine enthusiasts.
“Our wine list beautifully complements the classic Midwestern steakhouse menu at William B’s,” said Patrick Cullars, Blue Chip’s Restaurant Manager and Sommelier, who in 2018 will be taking the second of four tests for Master Sommelier Certification by the Court of Master Sommeliers. “We have a wonderful variety of carefully-chosen wines to please every palate.”
Wine Spectator is considered to be one of the most influential sources of wine information with 365,000 wine ratings. IP CASINO RESORT SPA's AAA Four Diamond-rated restaurant thirty-two also received Wine Spectator’s 13 Best Bets for Casino Dining Restaurant Award for its outstanding wine program last year.
