Boyd Gaming Corporate Social Responsibility Report Now Available

Boyd Gaming recently released its newest Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report, telling the story of the Company’s commitment to giving back to the communities we call home.

The CSR report highlights the Company’s support of charitable organizations throughout the community, its dedication to promoting diversity, its efforts to protect the environment and how Boyd Gaming strives to be an employer of choice for its 20,000 team members nationwide.


Giving back to our communities is a foundational part of our mission and culture. The Company contributes more than $14 million a year to thousands of non-profit organizations in communities across the United States. In addition, our team members also make significant contributions by volunteering thousands of hours annually to non-profits, and collectively donating nearly $1 million each year to United Way chapters throughout the nation.


Boyd Gaming is dedicated to our long-standing commitment to diversity, working toward our carved diversity goals: increase minority representation by 5 percent in mid-level management positions; identify opportunities to increase Company spend with certified minority and women-owned businesses; achieve 100 percent team member participation in diversity training; and increase recruitment and retention of veterans in our workforce.


We are committed to helping protect the environment and conserve resources. In an effort to pursue sustainable business practices, Boyd Gaming has implemented upgrades that have yielded significant water and electrical savings annually across our Company. Several Boyd Gaming properties have also earned LEED certification and Green Globes certification for achieving a variety of attainments in green building and sustainability.

Boyd Gaming team members are the foundation of Boyd Gaming’s success. The Company has long sought to keep team members engaged by creating a welcoming workplace culture, having a highly engaged, visible and approachable leadership team, celebrating team members’ successes, compensating team members appropriately and helping team members in need through Boyd Gaming’s Team Member Crisis Fund. This unique workplace culture contributes to one of the most loyal workforces in the gaming industry – nearly 9 percent of team members have 20 or more years of tenure with Boyd Gaming, with an average team member tenure of 7.6 years.
