Comedy Legend Louie Anderson Takes the Stage at Kansas Star Casino Event Center May 16!

MULVANE, Kan.— Emmy award-winning actor and comedian Louie Anderson brings his legendary stand-up act to the Kansas Star Casino Event Center Saturday, May 16.

Anderson has brought laughter to audiences since he began his career in his native Minneapolis, when taking the stage on a dare from friends. His big break came in 1984 when he appeared on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" who was so impressed with the comic; he called him out for a rare and coveted "second bow."

The multi-talented comedian/actor's resume also includes the syndicated hit series, "Family Feud" and being executive producer and creator of the two-time Emmy award-winning animated series on FOX "Life with Louie."

Anderson has guest-starred on such popular sitcoms as "Scrubs" and "Grace Under Fire," and dramas "Touched by an Angel" and "Chicago Hope." He also has appeared in memorable roles in such films as "Coming to America" opposite Eddie Murphy.
